Rain in the Forecast-Sunshine at the Curb: Loveland’s Electronics Drop-Off
Rain was forecast; it was chilly and windy-yet Loveland rolled up anyway. Volunteers brought the warmth: cars stayed put, gear got sorted right, EcoPal tracked the impact. Collective Action. Lasting Change.

The forecast called for rain; the morning was chilly and windy-exactly when you’d rather stay home. Yet neighbors still rolled up to the Loveland Sustainability Council’s electronics collection with TVs, laptops, cables, and mystery chargers. Huge kudos to everyone who showed-that’s #IamAnEcoPal: doing the right thing without waiting for perfect weather.
Volunteers made it easy. They met each car, carried items out of trunks, and sorted everything into the right categories so residents never had to leave their vehicles. Around 10:00–10:15 the line stacked into a quick traffic jam-the kind that can unravel an event. Here, it was a piece of cake: calm handoffs and a crew that never lost the plot.
With EcoPal alongside the Sustainability Council, those sorted buckets turned into real numbers-categories and quantities tied to actual recycling impact. That’s what we mean by Collective Action. Lasting Change.
Thanks again to every driver who pulled through-Collective Action. Lasting Change.
